Allí encontraremos siete tipos de bosque donde habitan miles de especies de plantas, más de 200 especies de aves, y más de 20 especies de mamíferos entre bosques de robles, caídas de agua, miradores y más de 18 Km. de hermosos senderos, la gradación altitudinal va desde los 2400 a los 2700 msnm y el clima es frío húmedo de alta montaña.
